Geology gets a new resource

Welcome to the Geology GCSE blogspot.

You'll be aware that there is no Geology GCSE revision guide - so this could be the a really useful place for you. Everyone needs some back up notes from time to time. The idea of this blogsite is to provide a topic by topic overview that shows what you need to know to get a high grade in the subject - think of it as your on-line revision guide. You're welcome to post comments, and if those comments happen to improve versions of what I put up then I'm happy to lash your material up as well.

There is a blog covering everything in the syllabus that needs to be covered for exam revision. Some material has 'moved topic' as it has been blogged - but it's all here.

If you're currently in Y11 then you would be well advised to spend some time on this material every week to make sure that you are staying 'in the know' and well placed for both your trial exam in February and your final GCSE in May.

If you're currently in Y10 then, at the moment, this is more of a learning resource for you. You'll find that the site gives you guidance in what to revise and, if you happen to miss a lesson, you'll be able to find the key-points. I'd still advise talking to someone else in the group to get the full notes though.

If you're in Y9 then this gives you an idea of the sort of subject you're opting in to.

Make the most of the Holocene!
